Application

tert-Butyl hydroperoxide may be used in:
osmium catalyzed vicinal hydroxylation of olefins under alkaline conditions
catalytic asymmetric oxidation of sulfides to sulfoxides using binaphthol as a chiral auxiliary
oxidation of dibenzothiophenes
