Capture chromatography is often a bottleneck in biomanufacturing processes and a significant contributor to manufacturing cost of goods. In response to these challenges, intensification of capture chromatography using multi-column chromatography can provide increased productivity and a reduction in cost of goods. Technologies in development, such as membrane capture, aim to further these advances. Whether it is process intensification or continuous processing, these advances can meet the needs of an evolving market.
