General description

Palmitoleic acid (C16:1, n-7, POA) belongs to the group of natural omega-7 monounsaturated fatty acids and occurs abundantly in plant and fish oils. Cis-palmitoleic acid is known to support glucose and lipid metabolism.
This substance is listed on the positive list of the EU regulation 10/2011 for plastics intended to come into contact with food.
