Immunoblot Analysis: 1:1000 dilutions of this lot detected phospho-IR (Tyr1158/Tyr1162/Tyr1163) in RIPA lysate of untreated and insulin treated CHO cells transfected with IR.

Human and mouse phospho-Insulin Receptor (IR) Tyrosine 1158/1162/1163 and Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 Receptor (IGF1R) Tyr 1131/1135/1136. Rat reactivity is expected based on 100% sequence homology.

Predicted to cross-react with rat based on 100% sequence homology, but have not been tested.

100 μL of affinity purified rabbit polyclonal IgG in 50% storage buffer (PBS (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.3 containing 1.0 mg/mL BSA (IgG, protease free) and 0.05% sodium azide) and 50% glycerol.

Stable for 2 years at -20°C from date of shipment.
Handling Recommendations: Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerolcontaining solutions to become frozen during storage.

Routinely evaluated by immunoblot.
